About Thinking of Oscar
Thinking of Oscar was set up in memory of Oscar Cole, who died suddenly in June 2014 aged just 16 months. Thinking of Oscar supports children and their families whilst in hospital care by funding projects and innovation over and above that supplied by the NHS. To date Thinking of Oscar has raised in excess of £200,000 and has funded projects across a number of children's hospitals around the UK. 2019 will be the 5th anniversary of the charity and the 5th anniversary of Oscar's death. To mark this, our two main fundraising events will be the Blenheim Palace Triathlon and an ambitious cycling event - #TOO500.
Our primary source of fundraising has historicaly been the annual Blenheim Palace Triathlon, and we have once again secured places for the event. Please contact charity@thinkingofoscar.com if you would like to join us. #TOO500 is a unique cycling challenge where participants will aim to cycle either the full route of 500 miles in 5 days or taking on an individual day's century ride, all with the aim of raising £500,000 and aweareness for the need for better focus and funding on child health. Funds raised will enable a number of Children’s Hospitals across the UK to embark on first of a kind, innovative projects focused on improving child health and well-being. Details on this unique challenge and on how to join us can be found below.

"If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart…
I’ll always be with you."
